I was so excited to open up my email this morning and see an email from Beauty Revived saying I was chosen as one of fifty photographers for this year’s 50 Beautiful Children’s Campaign. This is an amazing campaign and I’m so proud to be part of it for the second year. It’s so in line with what I do with my Dreamcatcher Project but on a nationwide scale working with an amazing team of photographers from across the country and with a gorgeous magazine feature. Michelle Johansen Gifford started Beauty Revived in 2014 to celebrate women with true beauty that is earned through courage, strength, and kindness. Since then this campaign has grown to include women, children, high school seniors, and mothers. Beauty Revived now has thousands of followers from across the world. It’s such an honor to be part of this campaign and I’m so excited to photograph a truly beautiful child and share his or her inspiring story with the world.
Starting today, I need YOU to nominate a child. We are looking for children with true beauty, the kind of beauty that is earned. We are looking for children who inspire others through kindness, strength, courage, helping those around them, and serving their communities through good deeds. We are looking for children who think of others before themselves. Children who shine bright and stand out from the crowd because of their big hearts and ability to spread joy and love through acts of kindness and selflessness. Children who even in the face of illness show courage and strength. These are the traits of beauty that we are looking for. These are the children we want to celebrate and recognize with this campaign.
One child will be chosen from the nominations for me to photograph and I will be sharing his or her inspiring story and images in the Beauty Revived 50 Beautiful Children magazine this summer!! His or her story and images will also be shared on the Beauty Revived and Aislyn June Photography websites.
Who can be nominated?
Children (boys and girls) ages 2-16 who inspire others through kindness, strength, courage, helping those around them, and serving their communities through good deeds.
Children who have been nominated for my Dreamcatcher Project are still eligible for this campaign.
Although I am based in West Michigan, nominations can come from all over Michigan.
How to nominate a child?
Email me at email@example.com with the child’s name, age, and why you think he or she is a beautiful child. If the child is selected, a parent/guardian will need to sign a photo/media release.
When does the nomination period end?
May 27th, 2016 is the last day to submit nominations. Session will take place during the month of June.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you have about this campaign. To see the two children I photographed for last year’s campaign, check them out here:
