Going into the new year, I thought it would be fun to start something new over here on the blog. Each month, I’ll be rounding up my favorite images from my personal stash to share with you all. I have a lot of momtogs who take my classes to learn how to take better pictures of their families so I thought it might be helpful or inspiring if I share images each month from my “mom” perspective. I’ll also share camera settings for each image as that can be helpful for those learning how to shoot in aperture priority, shutter priority, or full manual mode. Whether you’re shooting in full auto or full manual, with a DSLR or a cell phone, the images you capture of your loved ones in your day to day lives will be the most cherished images you possess so start clicking!
Our December probably looked a lot like yours. Hunting for the perfect Christmas tree, enjoying the first big snow of the year, and crafting gingerbread houses. December is always a fun month for photography because everything looks and feels a bit more magical. Falling snow definitely has my heart!
I’d love to see what your month of December looked like. Feel free to post your favorite shot in the comments for this post over on Facebook!
I hope you found these helpful or inspiring. Stop by next month for my January roundup!
